Excellent value for a clean, cozy stay in the heart of downtown Guelph. The hotel was a surprise from the start. A 200-year-old stone heritage building right in the middle of downtown Guelph, and I remember it before the renovations. Now, it’s bright, very clean, no musty/old smell that one normally expects in older buildings with carpets. It has a charming vintage feel with the extra-wide corridors and retro carpets in the halls but without any hint of being ‘old and dusty’. Felt like we were staying somewhere urban and much hipper than Guelph! The parking was extremely convenient, the staff was very happy, friendly, and helpful, and the room, though small, was cozy, clean, and quiet for the main street location. Excellent value for the convenience and star location. Would definitely return!
